1Post a shift in five taps
Choose the class type, date & time, any requirements (certifications, experience), and the rate you're offering. SubCoach auto-fills from your previous posts and lets you save templates for recurring classes — most studios post in under 60 seconds.
2Qualified teachers get pinged
Only teachers whose disciplines, certifications, availability and radius match your shift receive a notification. No spam, no unqualified applicants — the algorithm surfaces "Best Matches" first, ranked by fit and rating.
3Review & hire in one tap
Each applicant arrives with a full profile: certifications, teaching history, ratings from other studios, and their rate (they can accept yours or counter). Tap Hire and it's done — the shift is confirmed for both sides.

Questions, answered
How fast do shifts actually get filled?
In pilot cities, the average time from posting to a confirmed hire is under 30 minutes, and 84% of shifts are filled. Urgent shifts (<48h) are pushed to a wider radius automatically.
Who sets the rate — studio or teacher?
The studio proposes a rate when posting. Teachers can accept it or counter with their own; the studio sees both and decides. Everything is transparent before anyone commits.
How does payment work?
Directly between studio and teacher, however you already pay your regular teachers. SubCoach handles the matching, not the money — so there are no transaction fees on either side.
What disciplines are supported?
Yoga in all its forms (Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Ashtanga, Hot, Prenatal…), mat and equipment Pilates, Barre, and related movement formats. More verticals are on the roadmap.
What if a substitute cancels too?
The shift re-opens instantly with urgent priority, every previously matched teacher is re-notified, and the cancelling teacher's reliability score reflects it. Chronic cancellers don't last on SubCoach.
Is my studio locked into a contract?
No. Plans are month-to-month, and you can pause or cancel anytime from settings. Teachers never pay anything.
